Here are some suggestions...

1. Invite us to your church

We can supply a speaker for a church group. Executive Director Van Taylor or Chief Operating Officer Dave Boss is also available to fill your pulpit on Sunday morning or evening. Our table-top display, along with a mission representative, is available for mission emphasis events.

2. Get your Small Group to come for a tour of the Mission

You are invited to come and see what God is doing through KRM! Call (765) 456-3838 or email to arrange for a tour.

3. Adopt the Mission as a VBS project

Collect an item for the children in our shelter. To schedule a mission representative to come and encourage your VBS children in helping others, call (765) 456-3838 or email us.

4. Encourage your church to join the 5th Sunday Focus on the Mission

Each 5th Sunday of the year has a different focus on the mission's needs.

• "Squeaky Clean" Sunday - a collection of cleaning products

• "Full Meal Deal" Sunday – a collection of foods that are sources of protein

• "Undy" Sunday - a collection of new underwear for school children

• "Disposable" Sunday – a collection of disposable paper products

Check the current schedule and list of items needed.

5. Form a team for Walk a Mile in My Shoes

In January, get up to 20 of your closest friends together to be a Walk team, raising support for Open Arms, the Mission's shelter for homeless women and children.

6. Put KRM on the schedule of youth activities

• Serve a meal in the Mission dining room and provide clean-up...great face-to-face ministry time!

• Help wrap and deliver Red Ribbon Christmas boxes.

• Participate in "Souper Bowl Sunday" in January, a really simple fundraiser for the mission. Email for more information.

• Participate in the Yes, We CAN! canned food drive.

• Plan a party for the children at Open Arms, our shelter for women and children.
