Outreach
Ministry
"Then the righteous will
answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or
thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a
stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?"
Matthew 25:37-38 NIV

through the Care and Share Store to any person whose income falls
below the federal poverty guidelines. Furniture, appliances and
household goods are given to families upon determination of need.
In 2007, KRM gave 53,314 pieces of clothing to needy
families.
Holiday Outreach
KRM joins with
nearly 300 rescue missions across the nation in serving The
Great Thanksgiving Banquet. In Kokomo, a Banquet has
been held on Thanksgiving Day at Grace United Methodist Church
for 25 years, serving hundreds every year. In 2005, a second
Banquet began at Trinity United Methodist Church, across the
street from Garden Square on Wednesday evening before
Thanksgiving. In 2007, two more sites were added...Pine Valley
and the Paul Phillippe Resource Center in Frankfort. At
all sites KRM served 870 Thanksgiving baquet meals in 2007.
In 2007, the RED RIBBON
CHRISTMAS OUTREACH provided 2,822 people throughout a six-county
area with food and gifts. Volunteers wrapped presents and filled
the boxes with toys, gifts and food. Just before Christmas,
volunteers delivered the RED RIBBON boxes to each family.
